The Science Division at Green River Community College provides all students with an excellent undergraduate education in science which is relevant to their lives. Students have opportunities to be directly involved in the learning process; they are encouraged to ask pertinent questions, think independently, develop mental models that lead to predictions, and solve problems. The Division provides a supportive learning environment that encourages students to meet high expectations (standards) and take responsibility for learning.
