About the Instructors

Jack Danielson and Scott Schreiber have a combined total of over 50 years experience in the welding industry.  Having been employed by top manufacturers and fabrication shops, such as Weldco, Balderson Incorporated, Globe Machine, Caterpillar and Paragon Fabrication, their “on the job” experience has helped broaden their overall understanding of the vast and various processes used in the industry today. 

Along with their combined experience, they share a never-ending objective to remain familiar with the changing technology in the welding industry.  They constantly return to industry as part-time employees in various welding shops, while maintaining WABO certifications in many different processes.  Their ability to perform as proficient welders in the field is demonstrated daily in the classroom.  Furthermore, Jack and Scott continually attend workshops and seminars to expand their overall degree of knowledge, therefore enhancing the student’s learning experience at Green River Community College.

Additionally, they maintain constant contact with advisory members and attend regularly scheduled meetings, which contributes to their understanding of industry demands and needs, thus honing student’s skills for early job placement as competent and successful employees.
