Faculty

The Green River College Automotive Technology Program instructors are Dan Sorensen, David Lewis, and Dave Cooper. Each is a trade journeyman and Master automobile technician who has attained ASE LI Advanced Engine Performance Certification. All instructors are state emissions specialists and are passionate for motor sports and the automotive industry.

Dan Sorensen

Dan Sorensen earned his AAS Degree from Rogue Community College and has over ten years experience in the automotive trade industry. Dan began teaching at Green River Community College in 1996 and serves as chair of the Trades Division.

Dave Lewis earned his AAS Degree from Green River Community College, formerly a High School Auto Tech instructor, and has over fifteen years trade experience. Dave began teaching at Green River Community College in 2010.

Dave Cooper

Dave Cooper has worked in the automotive industry since 1980. For the past 23 years he has worked as a General Motors Technician in Enumclaw.
