My Story

My name is Nadezhda Lomova. I am from Russia. I have lived in the US since January 2002.  I have two children and four grandchildren. I live in Kent. In my country I worked as a bookkeeper. In Russia I  lived until 1990. Before I lived in Kasakhstan. I was born in Kasakhstan in a small town Taldykurgan.  I finished in High school. In Russia I lived  in big city Khabarovsk. Khabarovsk is next to big river Amur. We often went to beach. Khabarovsk green and beautiful city. It has many parks and museums. In parks there are many statues.  The park  next to the river Amur there is  a big statue of a man Muravev- Amurskiy, who built city Khabarovsk. Khabarovsk has many factories and plants. Next to Khabarovsk are many forests. Our family liked to go the to forest. There we listened to and watched the birds. My  two  daughters and four  grandchildren live in Khabarovsk now. The oldest grandchild, who is Ilya  play the piano. He is seven year old. My  youngest grandchild is Anton .He doesn’t speak because he is  seven months old year. I feel bored without my daughters and my grandchildren  I’ll hope that my daughters will come to me. I am student now. I go to Green River College ESL class and computer class. I study English because  I want to find a good job and have many Americans friends.
