My Story

My name is Abdihakim Abdi, and I came from Somalia. I was born 1965 in Marka which is a beautiful city with a long beach on the Indian Ocean. I came to the United States of America in May 2000. That is why I came to GRCC to learn English and maybe to learn computer, as a professional skill. I live in Kent and I love this country, because I remember when I was a young boy the people said America is a land of opportunity.

I hope with the help of my computer teacher to make my dream true. I wish to express gratitude to the U.S.A.
