Colleges and Universities in Washington State

There are 33 colleges and 7 universities in Washington state. There are 4 year and 2 year colleges. Students can transfer from 2 year colleges to 4 year universities. They can get AA or AS degrees at community colleges .They can also get vocational training.

If you are a new immigrant in the U.S., you should find community college close to your house. Every college has ESL, ABE, and computer classes. You should take these type of classes first to improve your basic skills. That way you can get a good job.
