First, here is Irina's interesting story
I was born on the 24th of June in 1978, in
Ukraine. My native city is L'vov. I have one sister, who has
lived in the USA for 2 years, and one brother, who lives in
Ukraine. When I was 7 years old, I went to school and studied
there for 8 years. After that I entered college. I studied there
for 4 years. It was the best time in all my life. I met many new
people, knew many interesting things, studied to be an
independent person. But when I finished my studied in college, I
couldn't find a job. My parents decided to emigrate in the USA,
and I came here with them. My brother stayed in Ukraine. Also, I
had many friends in Ukraine. I miss them very much and write
letters about my life here. Sometime I look at my photos and
remember the happy hours with them. I think that one time or
another I will go to visit my friends and my brother. But, maybe
he will come to America. I hope.
Now I have lived in the USA for 5 months. I like America. I like the English language, American people, stores, automatic doors in the stores and many others things. But I don't like that people in this country go everywhere by car, they seldom walk. I don't know what I will do in the USA I want to study in college, but I don't know if I can.

My name is Luba. I came from a not
large country Ukraine. I was born in 1976,and lived in big city
Lvov. In 1996 I moved to USA. I have lived in Kent more than tree
years. I live with my parents, brothers and sister.
I go to college. The English is not easy for
me, but I try study more. I wish some day I will understand
everything. Who knows?
