My Story

My name is Roza. I’m from the northern part of Russia. I have been here since September 1999. My husband won a Green Card; that way we moved to the U.S.A. We have one daughter. Her name is Natasha. She lives in Russia with her own family.

I love this college; I’ve met a lot of people from different countries. When I moved to the U.S.A., I couldn’t speak any English, and also I couldn’t understand any English. I felt very bad and it seems to me I lost myself. To attend college every day helps me to learn English, and now I have a full time job. I love my job, because it’s a good chance to improve my English. However, I hope when my English is better, I will be able to find a better job.
