My Story

My name is Taras Gorbachenko. I am from Ukraine. I came to the U.S. in October 1998. I live in Kent, and in Kent live my younger sister’s family and my parents.

I am enjoying learning about American life, culture and traditions. I like a nature the state of Washington. When weather is nice I like to go to the parks, mountains and lakes.

My schedule is very busy because I work at night and go to school in the morning but I like it, because I want to learn English and computer too.

I love this country and I want to be able to speak fluently English. That why I am here in GRCC ESL TACC class.
