Earthquake near Olympia on April 13,1949 . The temblor was centered at a depth of 54 km beneath the surface . It brought property damage of $25 million. Eight deaths were caused either directly or indirectly, and many were injures. At Olympia , nearly all large buildings were damaged, and water and gas mains were broken. Electric and telegraphic services were interrupted.

Damage to  Railway by 1965 Seattle Earthquake of April 29, 1965, Seattle, Washington.

The magnitude 6.5 earthquake killed 7 and caused $12.5 million property damage. The shock was felt over an area of approximately 336,700 square km of  the Unites States and British Columbia, Canada.

 Rick Wyatt and Mike Lagervall, co-owners of the Fenix Underground, hug in front of the tavern at the corner of Second Avenue and Jackson Street in downtown Seattle. The building was one of several damaged in today’s earthquake. Wyatt said he had been told that the building was a total loss, and said they will be sure to relocate and rebuild a stronger and better Fenic.” Also the owners are Pamela Moore and Dwayne Lagervall.  Earthquake on February 28, 2001 is the most powerful. The  6.8 magnitude quake originated 30 miles below the earth and was so strong that it cracked the thick Capitol dome Damage was estimated at more than $2 billion, and only one death was reported and hundreds of injuries were mostly minor..
