These worksheets will help you to learn how to use word processing.
You will have to type and format text. Please follow all the directions carefully.

Directions: If you are in the ESL 055 classroom, your teacher will copy this file to your disk. Then you can open it directly on your computer and work on it. If you are not in the classroom, you will have to type the paragraph in WORD or another word processing program. Follow all directions. If you click on the link at bottom, you can see the finished version of this worksheet. Use it to compare with your own to make sure you have the completed the worksheet correctly.

Paste, Bullets, Numbers, and Print Preview

1. Highlight (select) the paragraph below and copy it. Then enter a return after the original paragraph and paste in a copy of the paragraph.

Word processing is a very useful skill. You can use word processing to write letters, reports, school papers, and many other types of documents. You must be able to type and to use a computer in order to do word processing. Some of the basic skills are to open the program, open a new document, type and delete text, format text, select text, cut, copy and paste text, spell check, save and open documents, and print a document.

2. Cut and paste to put the following list of dates in correct order.

3. Make a bulleted list of vegetables. Cut out any food that is not a vegetable.
