Write in WORD and save your document to the A drive first. If you have a picture from the digital camera or the scanner, then save that to the drive A first.
From Hotmail write your email message and address it.
Under the subject line, you will see the words Attachments. To the right is a button that reads, "Add/Edit Attachments. Click there.
A new attachments window will appear. You will see the words "Find File:", an open box and a button with the word browse. Click on the "Browse" button to search for the file you want to attach. It is on your A drive.
After you click on the "browse" button. A new window will open.
At the top of the box you will see the words "Look in:" followed by an open box with a down arrow. Click on the down arrow and find "3 1/2 Floppy [A]" Click on it now. Now you will be looking at what is on your floppy disk.
Click on the file you want to attach. It should appear at the bottom of the window in a box to the right of the words, "File Name." Now click on the "Open" button on the bottom right side.
Now you should be back at the Attachment Window. Click the "Attach" button. You should be able to see the name of the file in the window to the right.
Click OK. It will take you back to the main email compose page.
Once back at the compose page, you can write a message, add a subject to the subject line and click "SEND". That's it! Your attachment is on its way.
