The TALL Class
The ESL program at Green River Community College has a class for students who want to learn how about computers and other kinds of technology. We call it the Technology Assisted Language Learning class, or the TALL class. The number in the course schedule is ESL 055.
What Students Learn
The first and most important is they learn to listen to, speak, write, read, and pronounce English..
The second is they learn a number of technology skills that can be helpful to them as students, parents, and as workers in a modern world.
Specifically, they learn how to use these types of technology:
tapes
books
videos
computers.
You are welcome to view the TALL class list of software or to look at the draft of a list of objectives for the class.
These objectives come from the State of Washington Ongoing Assessment Process.
