About our program

Students in the Aviation Technology degree program at Green River Community College receive a background in Aviation Weather, Air Transportation, Air Traffic Control, English, Math, Speech, and Human Relations. Then students choose one of four options to complete their degree:

The Aviation Technology program leads to a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree. Green River also offers an Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate that will prepare students with no previous background in aviation for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher practical examination. This examination must be taken within 90 days of graduation.
