Court Reporting Student Association

Green River’s Court Reporting Student Association (CRSA) is established to stimulate student interest in the court reporting profession and to provide a cohesive environment for students by promoting professionalism, respect, and support among students, faculty, and working reporters.

In addition, the club provides an opportunity for court reporting students with various backgrounds and interests to communicate their mutual goals and ideas.

Students are encouraged to attend off-campus seminars and conferences sponsored by both local and national court reporting organizations. These functions provide a valuable opportunity for the student to expand their knowledge of the field, both practical and social. Thus, CRSA holds a number of fundraisers throughout the year with the goal of raising money to pay for these attendance fees.

Currently, there is one major fundraiser in place. The students of CRSA have published a cookbook, with over 165 recipes, ranging from Appetizers to Ziti, with flavors and cuisines from around the globe. The students are a diverse group, and the recipes reflect that diversity.

Other fundraising ideas are always welcome and are in process.
