BASIC CLASS INFORMATION

First course of a four-quarter calculus sequence is an introduction to differential calculus and related applications. Topics include limits, derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions; optimization; linearization; numerical methods; modeling.  Graphing calculator required.  PREREQUISITE:  MATH& 142 with a 2.0 or higher or instructors permission.
