Northwest GIS Response Team: Northwest Response is a Pacific Northwest based volunteer geospatial community that advocates using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Internet mapping services, Remote Sensing Technology (RS),and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) field data collection methodology to enhance the delivery of humanitarian relief and development activities worldwide. Puget Sound LIDAR Consortium (PSLC): is an informal group of local agency staff and Federal research scientists devoted to developing public-domain high-resolution LIDAR topography and derivative products for the Puget Sound region. URISA: The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is a non-profit professional and educational association that promotes the effective and ethical use of spatial information and information technologies for the understanding and management of urban and regional systems. It is a multidisciplinary association where professionals from all parts of the spatial data community can come together and share concerns and ideas. U.S. Geological Survey (USGS): collects, monitors, analyzes, and provides scientific understanding about natural resource conditions, issues, and problems. Veterans Conservation Corps: "Any Country that is worth defending is worth preserving. Washington State Geospatial Data Archive (WAGDA): is a space to locate geospatial data for the state of Washington. Maintained by The Map Collection & Cartographic Information Services, University of Washington Libraries, this site also contains selected non-Washington geospatial data sets that have been created by students and researchers at the University of Washington. | |
