Please answer the following question in a well developed essay.  Provide specific examples from the films we have viewed as evidence to support your argument.  A well developed essay has a clear Introduction and Thesis Statement, multiple Body Paragraphs which develop each major point, and a Conclusion that summarizes your argument. 

      How did America emerge as the dominant film producing nation in the world by the 1950s?  Be sure to include: 1. the role of the Classic Hollywood Style, 2. the rise of the Studio and Star Systems, and, 3. the role of technical innovations that made this rise to dominance possible.
