Hello, my name is Kat Warner and I am the instructor for the course.  I am a tenured faculty member at Green River Community College.  Sociology is my passion and I hope that before the quarter is over you have an idea as to why.  

I am a native of Washington State although I spent several years teaching in Eastern Montana.  My undergraduate degree is from Pacific Lutheran University and my advanced degree is from the University of Washington. My special areas of interest are deviance and the family.
