Ron Bayer has been teaching music for 26 years, 14 of which have been at Green River Community College. In 2004 Ron was inducted into the Washington Music Education Association Hall of Fame.

Kelly Eisenhour

Kelly Eisenhour

National recording artist and award-winning director

Kelly Eisenhour has her undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and graduate degree from the University of Utah. She was an adjunct faculty member at Brigham Young University where she had an award winning jazz choir, BYU Jazz Voices, and taught vocal jazz improvisation. Ms. Eisenhour, though her expertise is in jazz, also has directed church choirs and taught traditional ear training and music theory, as well as private voice instruction. She is a sought after clinician and adjudicator. Ms. Eisenhour is an accomplished performer and recording artist. Her latest album “Seek and Find” rose to #14 on the JazzWeek national radio airplay charts in 2007. She served as assistant director for Gladys Knight’s gospel choir “Saints Unified Voices,” which won a Grammy award for “Best Gospel Choir” in 2006. Highlights of performing: guest soloist with the Boston Pops, invited performer at the IAJE (International Association for Jazz Education) conference in New York, soloist with the Utah Symphony.

Chris is a very active performer and composer in the Pacific Northwest and around the world.  His band, More Zero, has earned many great reviews from publications such as Seattlejazzscene.com.

Dennis Yadon

1963 - Attended U.S. Navy School of Music, Washington D.C. (Anacostia) 7 months. Played in U.S. Army Bands in San Francisco, Oakland & Ft. Lewis. Attended Cornish School for the Arts, Seattle, 1974-1976 B.F.A from California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA 1977. Graduate work in performance and composition at Cal State U., Northridge, 1977-1978 Graduate studies in Composition & Teacher education at Pacific Lutheran University, 1979-1981 Traveled with the 1968 edition of the James Bros. Circus, playing keyboard, 4 months on the road throughout the U.S. Composed, arranged music for a Play 'Disabled Genius' at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, The Chicago Art Institute, and in Atlanta Georgia Arranged music for the Jerry Lewis Telethon Orchestra and Big Band for three consecutive years, in Las Vegas, Nevada, 1980-1982. Worked as a Studio Arranger in Seattle, and a small amount in Los Angeles. Have had my own Jazz trios and quartets for several years, traveling around the Northwest states, and working a lot in the Seattle area. Worked as a church pianist, choir director and music arranger/composer for 9 years at the Unity Church in Kent, WA. Performed with Buddy DeFranco, Herb Ellis, and Terry Gibbs at the Opera House, Seattle. Taught in public and private schools in California, Oregon, Barrow, Alaska and Washington, totaling about 20 years.
