Phellinus weirii root rot study

The GRCC campus at Auburn is located on approximately 200 acres of forest. Natural Resources faculty and students utilize this forest for almost all classroom teaching and learning. The Natural Resources program maintains four miles of hiking and biking trails for neighbors, students, and staff. Students conduct actual recreational, wildlife, water, fire, and forest management operations. Research projects are ongoing here, including a ten-year study of a natural root fungus that kills Douglas-fir trees.
