How to get started

Occupational therapy assistant courses begin fall or spring quarter of each year and must be taken in sequence.

Students must:

  1. Complete anatomy and physiology, English composition, and lifespan development courses prior to entering the program;
  2. Complete and submit a General Admissions application to Green River College (if you have not previously attended Green River College);
  3. Complete and submit a separate Occupational Therapy Assistant application:
  4. Be admitted into the program.

Thirty-two (32) students will be accepted into the Occupational Therapy Assistant program each fall and 16 each spring, based on the strength and qualifications of the applicant pool. Application forms are available online in late fall quarter for spring admission and late winter quarter for fall admission. They are also available via the Career and Advising Office at (253) 833-9111, ext. 2641.
