The Orbit of the Earth, with Seasons: A Viewpoint in Space

Switching between "overhead" and "spaceship" perspective will give you an idea of what somebody on the spaceship would see. Imagine you are looking at the planet through a window on the spaceship. As the Earth rotates and your ship follows around the Sun, what would you see?

The black dot is the north pole.
The red dot is a city of latitude 45º N.
