Emergency Procedures

In case of life threatening emergency, dial “9” plus “911” from a campus extension or “911” from a pay phone, then notify the Security Office, ext. 2250.

Campus Security is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., telephone calls are received via the regular telephone system:

  • From a campus telephone, dial extension 2250.

  • From a campus payphone; press the "Campus Security" button, which will automatically dial the security office at no charge.

  • From an off-campus payphone, dial (253) 833-9111 and enter extension 2250.

After 10:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m., all incoming telephone calls are answered over our radio system.

In the event of a traffic accident, however minor, please notify Security. An officer will come out and fill out a report; you can use a copy of this report to send to your insurance. King County police will not respond unless it is an injury accident or there is more than $500 in damages. If the accident does not fall into one of these categories, then you must report to the nearest King County station within 24 hours to pick up an accident report.

If at any time while you are on campus you would like a security escort for any reason, please call ext. 2250. The Security Office is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is located in the Administration Building at the front entrance.
