Mission And Goals
MISSION STATEMENT
The South King Country Tech Prep Consortium is a partnership of
business, labor, community, and education that meets common regional needs to
prepare students to successfully advance from elementary through post-secondary
education into the world of work.
GOALS
-
Strengthen the Consortium's relationship with business,
industry and labor.

Increase the number of students involved in Tech Prep
activities .

Renew the Consortium's commitment to in-service
opportunities for all Consortium members.

Guide parents and students in creating a post-secondary plan
that values professional/technical education.

Provide a system of accountability that is responsive to the
needs of students, parents, business, industry and labor.

Provide a system of enhancing and communicating student
success.

Enhance high school and college curriculum through the
integration of skill standards.

Reestablish linkages between all educational partners.
