All of your exams are to be taken at the testing center. You may take your exams any time that you want - provided it is by each exam's due date. All due dates are on Saturday's except for the last one which is due by the final day of class of the quarter. The testing center is closed for regular testing on Wednesdays. CLASS FEE: COURSE GOALS: To develop understanding, knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable students to enter and succeed in business office positions involving computer applications, secretarial and/or clerical activities. To study issues such as ethics, sexual harassment, and diversity. GRADING CRITERIA: 40% Assignments 40% Tests* over the text book, videos, and lectures/narratives * MAKE-UP TESTS ARE NOT GIVEN, BUT I WILL DROP YOUR LOWEST TEST SCORE

Tests are to be completed without talking or collaborating with others.
Assignments are to be completed individually and without collaborating
with others and without plagiarizing. Duplication of someone else’s work
(be it another student, professional, web page, book, etc.) represents cheating behavior. Cheating
behavior of any kind, including but not limited to: talking during tests,
collaborating during tests, resubmission of old papers/assignments, papers
or assignments used in other courses, and/or papers or documents written
by somebody else will result in the student receiving a final course grade of 0.0 SPECIAL NEEDS: Final grade will be assigned in accordance with Green River Community College’s decimal grading scale: Percentage Numeric Grade for Course
