Washington Certification Services, located at Green River Community College, has been providing certification support activities for environmental professionals throughout Washington State for over 30 years.
Under the direction of the Department of Health, Office of Drinking Water, Certification Services is responsible for administering the State of Washington Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) Certification Program and the Waterworks Operator Professional Growth Program. We also provide evaluation and accreditation services to course sponsors conducting waterworks training in Washington.
