  6. Biol 100 Final Exam:  8 - 10 a.m. Wednesday June 11 in SC-240Bring the following with you to the final exam: Scantron card, #2 pencils, good eraser, portfolio #3 and a well rested mind and body!

    • The final exam is a comprehensive exam covering all material studied this quarter, but concentrates (i.e. roughly half the exam) on the material learned since the 2nd midterm exam. More questions will be derived from this material, than any other topic covered this quarter.

    • It would be prudent to review all active learning exercises, lecture notes, lab activities, Chapter Tests at the textbook's website, LearnSmart modules at the Connect website and skim through the chapter summaries and all reading assignments in your textbook (i.e. Chapters 1 - 5, 8 - 11, and 13-14) to be well prepared for the exam.

    • Click here for 17 pages of Final Exam Practice Questions!!   Click here for the Answer Key!

    • It is highly recommended that you study and review for the final exam over a period of several days. Retention is usually highest if you limit each study session to one-hour duration. There's loads of research that show that cram sessions are ineffective in helping students prepare for an exam.

    • The final exam will also include concepts and material learned for exams 1 and 2
