        Study Natural Resources at GRCC!

Green River Community College's educational program in Natural Resources leads to a Community Forestry Certificate or an Associate in Applied Science degree. The Natural Resources option, leading to the A.A.S. degree in Natural Resources, is one of only two natural resources degrees in Washington recognized by the Society of American Foresters and one of only 23 recognized by SAF in North America.

GRCC's Natural Resources program prepares students for immediate employment in forestry, water quality, or park management. Students have the opportunity to work with both instructors and natural resources professionals in the field like foresters and park managers.

The award winning faculty are experienced in all facets of natural resources, forestry, water quality and park management.

Green River's A.A.S. degree with a Natural Resources option, will give you an edge on transferring to a university. You may also complete your academic classes to earn a pre-professional degree.

When you are done you will have the field skills and training, in addition to the prerequisite undergraduate classes, needed to transfer into a 4-year university.
