FURTHER HELP
*p. 17  questions to include in peer response letter
*pp. 21 -24

CENTRAL CONCERNS for today and tonight (help others to become better writers)
1.    Topic sentence – do you have a topic and a controlling idea is it purposeful, is it clear, is it engaging
2.    Support – half page to 3/4 of a page
3.    Flow from one transition to another smoothly
4.    Stay on track – don’t deviate
5.    Paper needs clarity, purpose, concluding sentence: everything should be circular, concluding sentence should connect back to topic sentence but should be stated differently

PRL should be at least a half page / do your best to help others/ not two sentences
Give suggestions/ ideas to help person improve paper

Work off draft – this is the worksheet p. 21 in the workshop/ look in packet for models to work from ,

p. 22 is an excellent review of what to do in revisions

Give Brad a copy of your draft on your way out
